I was skeptical but desperate after raccoons kept getting into my trash. This thing actually works! The combination of sounds and lights seems to confuse them. It's survived two storms already - the waterproof claim checks out. My dog doesn't react to it at all, which is perfect.

Great coverage - protects my whole backyard. The different modes let me target specific pests (we've got rabbits AND snakes). My only suggestion would be to make the instructions clearer about positioning - took some trial and error to find the sweet spot where it catches movement from all angles.

Bought this mainly for the squirrels digging up my bulbs, and wow does it work! The variable frequency is key - they don't get used to it like with cheaper models. The solar charging is brilliant, though I did have to USB charge it during that rainy week we had. Installation took maybe 10 minutes tops.
