I have Saker mini chain saw which I have found to be a brilliant tool with so many uses. However, while cutting a tree 3 to 4” thick my saw got jammed, and in getting it free the chain guide plate got bent and I can’t get it straightened. I have contacted Saker twice by email to see if it is possible to purchase a replacement plate, as it is as easy to replace as a chain, and unfortunately I have had no reply from Saker. It seems that they are only keen to sell new items, and not so keen to sell simple replacement parts. Alex Baird.

Great piece of kit to have made short work of the sleepers I was using on a decking repair recently straight through them like a knife through butter For something so small and light it really does pack a punch but with all chainsaw related tools you must keep the chain at the correct tension and oil the chain When my mate seen me using it he asked me to order him one immediately ! I hae used this tool once and was quite surprised how easy it was in operation. Will use it as and when requied. The only down side it is Right Hand use only (safely). Could it be re-designed for Right & Left Hand use. My son, who is Left Handed could not operate with any degtee of safety.

Chose the 6 inch chain saw. Contents of box matched the description. Good quality product. I used it to cut back ivy and it easily cut through the woody branches. Some kick back on springier wood. Never used a chain saw before but this was easy to grip and not too heavy for holding with one hand. Gloves and goggles included in box. Thicker branches cut easily.

It's a great tool and has tackled everything I wanted it to do. I have however some thoughts: I think the recommendation should be to use it with 2 hands, it can buck a bit in your hand and it this would keep your second hand out of the way. The hand guard is fairly insignificant. Use with caution. I would also recommend removing the battery each time you put it down to avoid accidental operation. A great tool but use with great care.

Happy with the chainsaw, but why I paid for faster delivery (5-7days) when it took nearly 3 weeks to get here I don't know. The tracking information is rubbish. One day it was in Aberdare next day it was in Hong Kong, explain that. You need to keep tracking upto date.

I have a four inch and 6 inch saw I have been very pleased with both as they are easy to use and very efficient. I have a 16 inc h chain saw but it takes two hand to use so there no way of holding branches before they fall. The 4 inch blade can with one hand do must things in the garden safely.

Saker 6inch mini chainsaw . June 2024. Purchased 2 chainsaws from your website. They were packaged well and delivered on time and in good order. Reason for purchase. They looked well designed and at a reasonable cost. My interest in purchasing them for pruning a variety of shrubs and trees including some evergreen Conifers and a recent interest in Topiary of some Yew and Box hedging. However the latter has suffered with serious Box-blight, resulting in digging out approximately 20 plants. But have experimented with a few as topiary specimens re-shaping them by using the Saker as it's a very hard and dense wood with tricky cross working of branches. So I could see that the Saker would be very useful to shape the remaining Box and handy for all the other shrubs and various trees. Pruning, from up ladders, to keep them in shape, with our changing climate-drought and extreme wet! Saker was offering a 2nd chainsaw and extra chain packs at a v/good discount. The Saker 6inch chainsaw is a neat design and is well balanced when using with the battery pack- however, the chain, easily loosens on the bar-resulting in many frequent stops to re-tighten. Understandable- the plastic chain cover has been designed to do this- for safety purposes. Overheating for instance! Frustrating but its for safety. It is a very useful tool for pruning in small branches, reshaping in awkward positions, up ladders etc. Providing a fine oil is used frequently to the chain guide and bar I see good usage by me for this handy tool. I saw the adverts online for it and the video for the product. I purchased the boxed set for the 4” saw. It came assembled and with 2 fully charged batteries. I have had it a couple of months now so plenty of uses before writing this review. Unboxed the chainsaw today. Battery was full which enabled me to get on with the task in hand. Bush, which in the main, had died. All dead branches removed within about 5 minutes. Couldn't video the job in progress as I was on my own but the debri and live part of the bush are shown in the video. Extremely happy with the purchase and would highly recommend it.
