Update after 1 year: This thing is a tank! The Oxford fabric shows no wear despite daily use by 3 feral cats. The aluminum lining started peeling slightly near the entrance, but a bit of duct tape fixed that. Worth every penny for peace of mind during winter.

The reflective lining makes a noticeable difference! I used an infrared thermometer and it's consistently 8-10°F warmer inside than similar uninsulated shelters. Assembly took 15 minutes though - those ground loops are tricky to secure properly on uneven surfaces.

After 3 months of use, I can confidently say this is the best outdoor cat shelter I've tried. The insulation really works - my neighborhood strays choose this over my porch when it rains. The only minor issue is the Velcro straps could be stronger in high winds.

Bought the large size for our 12lb tabby who refuses to come inside during winter. The sloped roof design is genius - no water pooling at all during heavy rains. My only suggestion? Maybe add a removable cushion option because my cat dragged his bed inside anyway.

Great concept but the medium size runs small. My 9kg cat fits but barely turns around. Wish they made an XL version. That said, the waterproofing is excellent - survived two Nor'easters without leaking. Just be sure to weigh it down with bricks in windy areas.
